Language: The languages spoken in Scandinavia include Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Icelandic and Faroese.

Currency: The currency in Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Iceland is krone/a. In Finland, it is euros. The currencies of the five countries are not interchangeable.

Time Zone: GMT +1 

Weather: Depending on your destination, weather may vary from one Scandinavian capital to the next. Oftentimes it can be said that the temperate Scandinavian weather is sunny and mild in summer​ and a little colder than usual in winter.
